Anti-Aging Diary - monthly journey to youth, longevity and fitness from Reverse Aging Now, the anti-aging video.

After trudging through the snows of Boston for Christmas, I made it back to Southern California to celebrate the New Year with Carolisa Pomerantz on the grande dame of all cruise ships, the Queen Mary. As a boat owner myself, I always find the contrast between my little water craft and this vessel to be stunning.

The Queen Mary is a world of elegance on the water with wood paneling in each state room, art deco ballrooms and the ghosts of the rich and famous who had used the ship as their trans Atlantic playground. We began the celebration with a fish feast at the Chelsea Restaurant, then in the moments leading to midnight, we danced on the top deck.

At the stroke of the new decade, we were treated to a stunning fireworks display. Later we retreated to the Observation Bar for a jazz quartet then wound down the evening listening to dueling pianos.

At the ship's 50th anniversary, I had produced a piece about the vessel highlighted by an interview with an engineer who had served on it in WW II. I casually asked at the front desk when the 50th anniversary had been. I was stunned to learn that my program had aired 23 years ago.

It's not that aging leads to forgetfulness, but that with healthy aging you can extend your career. In fact one of the things that I learned while working on the anti aging documentary "Reverse Aging Now" in Okinawa, home of the world's longest lived people, is that the locals have no word for retirement. They simply keep doing what they have always done as I now do.

Every time I have to buy a new calendar, I consider myself lucky to have made it to another year. As we move deeper into 2010 and put a stressful decade behind us, let's embrace a fresh start for the new year of health, hope and prosperity.

Keep reading about my quest to reverse aging. If this 55 year old can take this important anti aging step, anybody can. Is it possible to really reverse aging? Keep reading or buy our anti-aging video. Go to our web site for free on line anti aging videos and longevity.
